With the Centenary of the Insurrection of 1916 fast approaching, The Seán Heuston 1916 Society are hoping to erect seven murals in the Dublin City area dedicated to the signatories of the 1916 Proclamation on Independence.
We are looking for Dublin City Council to provide the public spaces needed for these murals under the Dublin City Arts Project.
With "YOUR" help signing this petition to erect these murals, honouring Irelands Patriot dead; We hope to have these murals in place on or before the Centenary of the 1916 Insurrection on the 24th of April 2016.
The seven signatories are:
Thomás Clarke, James Connolly, Thomás McDonagh, Éamonn Ceannt, Pádraig Pearse, Joseph Plunkett, Seán Mac Diarmada.
