We, the undersigned, demand that an end be put to online petitions. It has been shown repeatedly that online petitions are utterly worthless and completely meaningless, besides being of exactly no merit whatsoever. Signature names cannot be verified on online petitions. Some online petitions are even falsely represented as having value by the media. A prime example of this was Congressman John Conyers' so-called "signatures" demanding that the President spend time with him discussing the so-called Downing Street Memo, which had long-since been debunked as completely false.
Therefore, to address our grievances over online petitions, we demand the following:
Either:
1.) End all online petitions, or;
2.) Make all online petitions available solely for the purpose of poking moonbats with sharp sticks, in order to better provide amusement for the rest of us.
