Please accept our humble obeisances. We the undersigned feel that the standard 24 hour day is insufficient for carrying out the normal duties and responsibilities of modern life. Perhaps in the old days when the 24 hour day was first established it was enough, but in todays more complex modern (western) society, 36 houres seems more appropriate. We request that you extend the duration of each day by 12 hours. Thank you.
