Fighting for The Future of The X-Files

We the Fans of the X-Files are here to speak up in regards to rumored fall out between Chris Carters 1013 production company and Fox Studios.

We have spoken with our wallets/purses by purchasing the DVD sets, Video Games and other X-Files memorabilia and will continue to due so

We have kept the Franchise alive after the series finale through web-sites and Fan Discussion Forums and we continue to support the current ratings by watching the reruns on TNT and The Sci-Fi Channel.

Its been only two years since the series ended but the Mythology of the X-Files is far from over for us and we ask that you bank on the X-Files film franchise to continue on where the series left off.

To disregard a future for the X-Files could be a potential financial opportunity loss for Fox.studio

Bring back Chris Carter and 1013 Production and Green light the Second X-Files motion picture and the fans will continue make it a profitable franchise.

It has also been rumored that the studio was pressuring Chris Carter to do a stand-alone story for the 2nd feature film to appeal to the viewers who are unfamiliar with the X-Files Mythology. We feel that this could be a mistake. Although we enjoyed the stand-alone monster of the week episode, it was the Mythology of the abductions, Government conspiracy and character development that fueled the fans passion and was the backbone of the X-Files success.

Chris Carter has done a great job bringing outsiders up to speed on the Mythology early on in the first feature film in 1998 and we are sure that he can do the same in any future X-Files movies. We ask that you share the same confidence in Mr. Carters abilities to continue the Mythology without alienating the outsiders.

We support a follow up feature film of the X-Files that continues the Mythology.

We support David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson in the starring roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

We support Mitch Pilegi in a co staring role as AD Walter Skinner.

We are open to the participation of both Robert Patrick and Annabela Gish as Agents John Dogget and Monica Reyes.

We support the ongoing Mythology rather than a stand-alone creature story.

Most of all we support the return of The X-Files.

Please take into consideration of the fans desires and have confidence in Chris Carter and 1013 Productions ability to deliver and you will find that the X-Files is still profitable.
