Final Fantasy VI was the last game Squaresoft made for a Nintendo Videogame Console. Final Fantasy VII appeared on the Sony Playstation. The reason for this was Nintendo's failure to transfer to compact disks.
In 2002, Nintendo, now using their own type of compact disk, came to an agreement with Squaresoft, whose friendship with them had been torn by the four games that were made for Sony Playstation in the time they were apart. Many Nintendo fans have been left without the continuations in the series they loved.
The Undersigned believe that Squaresoft should pick up the Final Fantasy series for Nintendo where they last were. We believe Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and X should appear on the Nintendo Gamecube.
We believe many things could work, from a compilation featuring two or three of the titles, similar to Sonic Team/Sega's Sonic Mega Collection game, right to complete remakes of the Playstation games (with enhanced graphics etc) and a port of the Playstation 2 game.
Many people believe that Final Fantasy VII is the best in the series; some think second best to Final Fantasy VI. However, whatever position the game is placed in, the Final Fantasy series' original fans have been robbed of one of the greatest games of all time.
Many people would like to see Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX remade with extras, anything from a new weapon to enhanced graphics.

FF1-6 on GBA, and FF7-10 on GCN would be great. I'd definately buy FF6 & FF7, my favorites - story-wise - of the series.

Final Fantasy is a great game. As a PS2 fan and GC I would like to see the original FFs on the gamecube with new things. To enhance the game a bit.

With the amount of space on one gamecube disc there should be enough space to put one whole version of each final fantasy game on one disk with room to spare for enhanced graphics. With the exclusion of FFX which will probably need two discs.
