Version 4.5.x of GameRanger does not play to well with Age Of Empires 2 version 1.0.5. Because of Game Ranger, many recordings are corrupted if the client does not quit AOE before GR quits AOE. It is caused because of the "Quit when host quits," this means that if the host quits AOE, his clients AOE game is forced to quit by GR. I have not had an issue with bad recordings since the new version of GR
A simple fix that I can see is instead of GR making everyone quit, there would be a button that would "call" the clients out of the game. So the host could decide if he wants to force them all to come out of AOE. This would allow clients to look at scores and also might allow a good recording.
Or AOE needs to be fixed so that when GR forces AOE to quit, the recording would be successful.
The purpose of this petition is to inform the developers that there is a bug in there software and to inspire them by your signatures to fix it.
