We the undersigned feel that Rapidshare AG has done a great disservice and has exhibited neglect to its users with the recent actions it has taken. The quality of the one-click hosting service offered by Rapidshare has dropped severely since the beginning of this year.
On the first day of 2010 Rapidshare changed the inactivity period before deleting files from 90 days to 60 days.
As of 1/29/2010 Rapidshare not only discontinued their paying Referrer Program, but also removed the option to cash out Premium RapidPoints into currency. The discontinuation of cash out option was done without any notice.
Rapidshare also has a policy of letting users "only order one premium item per Premium or Collectors account." Once a user redeems RapidPoints for an item this effectively leaves them with one use for their remaining RapidPoints - to repeatedly create Premium accounts (which many of us already have).
As uploaders we refuse to share our files on any network operated by RapidShare AG until the option to cash-out RapidPoints into currency is reinstated.
