Signing this petition will demand that the U.S. give a formal acknowledgement of the events of the illegal deportations and repatriations of the 1930s. It would also call for the U.S. to endorse a fund that would be used to offer reparations to the victims of these events. Your signature would also demand that a plaque acknowledging the events and giving recognition to the victims, be placed in a public arena. It would also ask that changes be made to U.S. high school history books in order to give knowledge to our students on these events so that they will not be repeated in the future.
