The Fox news channel recently targeted the video game 'Mass effect' on the "Live Desk with Martha MacCallum" program. On this segment, Fox news made a substantial number of serious errors and misstatements. One example of this being the following; "You'll see full digital nudity and the ability for players to engage in graphic sex.". The sex scenes in mass effect are NOT graphic. You will see worse on network television. Fox news claims that full nudity and graphic sex are in mass effect. This is a complete fabrication.
Unfortunately fox news and its crew of 'experts' decided to state this and other lies as fact. They even went as far as to say that the game is being marketed to children, despite the M 17+ rating from the ESRB.
Fox news misled their audience with lies and slander about Mass effect. It was insulting to everyone who worked on the game. As the parent company of Bioware, the studio which created the game, Electronic Arts has asked Fox news to correct their false statements and set the record straight about Mass effect. The Fox news channel has yet to do so.
Fox news, You lied to your audience and you presented the lies as fact. You have potentially damaged the names of Bioware and Electronic arts with your ignorance. We demand that you immediately issue a correction of your errors and misstatements along with an apology to Bioware and EA.
