Full Funding For CCAC in Ontario

CCAC provides immeasurable assistance to residents of Ontario and enables them to continue living independantly rather than being forced from their homes into some form of group facility.

Its well known and acknowledged by The Province that it is exponentially less expensive to provide these services, specifically those provided by CCAC, to Ontario residents than the cost of having these otherwise independant persons forced to reside in a Governmentally funded facility.

CCAC and its sister organizations provide the assistance to Ontario residents that they require, which enables them to continue living independantly in their own homes, and does so in a caring and personal fashion, based upon each specific individauls' needs. These magnificent services, if not provided, unnecissarily force otherwise independant residents of Ontario into facilities, at a much higher cost to The Province. With the services of CCAC, again, at a much lower cost to The Province than residing in a facility , Ontario residents with physical and other day to day challenges can remain living in their own homes with a degree of independance and self-worth that the rest of Ontario residents enjoy.

Therefore, we, the undersigned, petition The Legislature of Ontario, to immediately increase the amount of funding to all CCAC centres located across The Province Of Ontario. Sufficient funding to the CCAC centres will not only enable all residents of The Province to continue living in their own homes, it will save the taxpayers of Ontario vast sums of monies, freeing up funding for other very worthwhile endeavours which The Province finds itself short of sufficent funding.
