Get Duck signs for Wanaka lakefront

Ducks and ducklings regularly cross the road between Lake Wanaka and Pembroke Park. Most people stop their cars to let them cross, but some people (particlarly visitors new to town) are unaware of our cute feathered friends and either keep driving or don't stop in time, with sad results. Duck Crossing signs at each end of the park on the waterfront road would help make people aware so they can be prepared to stop if necessary. We need your backing to persuade the council to erect the signs.
