Get Facecrime Into Uni!

We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned for 27 year old Facecrime who faces another year in the wilderness.



Earlier this year, Facecrime applied for a place on the English Literature course at Bath Spa University. His application was rejected, and was suggested to apply for an access course. However, this is not right, as it would mean going part time at work, getting into debt, and spending a year taking his ABC's and 123's because some person at the University wont even take the time to give Facecrime a chance to prove he is worth a shot.



Moreover, Facecrime is a mature student (27 years old) that has good qualifications and an enviable personal background in Literature. He has also done various jobs for the NHS over the last 7 years.



I have known Facecrime for some time, and I know he had his heart set on that course and especially at that University. That is why the rejection hurt him so much. At this moment in time, Facecrimes' only option is having to go back to College to do a couple of A-Levels which will hopefully enable him to get into the Uni.



However, we feel that this is wrong. He should not have to take out 2 years off his life learning things he already knows about, and at a much higher level.



So, we urge Bath Spa University to reconsider Facecrime's application for the English Literature degree. The least that they can do, is offer him an interview for him to prove his worth.
