Get GREASE 2 on E! True Hollywood Story

We hope you consider doing an episode of your series on the 1982 Paramount Pictures musical, GREASE 2, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwell Caulfield.
Although this film was not received as enthusiastically as the original GREASE was, it has gained cult status over the years as evidenced by the popularity of the grease2.net website. This is a film that deserves a look into what worked and what didn't. We are not looking for a slam piece, but if any film has a Hollywood story in it, then certainly it is GREASE 2. This was one of the most eagerly awaited sequels at the time. Producers Robert Stigwood and Allan Carr were riding high at that point. I think it would be great to hear what the film makers had to deal with in regards to studio interference, cultivating two unknowns to be stars,Opening opposite E.T. The Extraterrestrial, the marketing of the picture and why they thought thier decisions would work.
In the past few years there have been successful tie ins for GREASE 2 including a Rocky Horror style Midnight theatrical showing of the musical in Los Angeles where actors were in front of the screen portraying all the characters! Actor Chris McDonald was on hand and loved it! Last February, a mini reunion happened when Maxwell Caulfield, Lorna Luft, Maureen Teefy, Pamela Segall Adlon, Leif Green and Eddie Deezen all signed autographs together for thier fans at our request. The original high school is still standing which would make for some great shots and I am sure many of the actors would be willing to share thier experiences about making the film. GREASE 2 ... You just KNOW there is a E! TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY there!
