Get Hideo Kojima to direct the Metal Gear Solid movie

Metal Gear Solid is proof that video games are art. The characters, music, and story of this saga are things that millions of fans around the world will treasure for the rest of their lives. It remains one of the first and few video games that have moved people to tears in the way a groundbreaking novel, movie, or television show might. If you believe in Metal Gear Solid then now is the time to prove it. As the days carry on it is becoming more and more likely that the Hollywood heavyweights will attempt to adapt this phenomenal game to the silver screen. The problem with that is the track record for game to film adaptations is terrible. Every video game movie to date has been a complete bastardization of the source material. And all of this is done so Hollywood producers can make a quick buck. Well the buck needs to stop here! We Metal Gear Solid fans need to show them that a film version of the game needs to be done right or not at all. And the only way that could ever happen is if Hideo Kojima, the creator of MGS, is chosen to direct the film. The world of MGS is a product of his unparalleled imagination and creativity. Only he should have the right to make this film. And if he doesnt want to direct, then the film should not be made. People who truly appreciate the depth and magnitude of MGS know that the utmost care needs to be taken if this saga is brought to film. We wont settle for anything less. And the money men in Hollywood need to understand that if MGS is done right, we WILL pay to see it. But only on these terms. Hideo Kojima has done the same with video games, even if he might not believe it himself. Metal Gear Solid is a Tour de Force rivaled only by the man who made it. But Ive said enough for now.
