'Get Nottingham Forest FC to play the song "You Reds" by Resistance 77 at home games when the players come out of the tunnel'

Dear Nottingham Forest,

It has come to our attention that you are looking to choose some new music to play over the tannoy at home matches when the players run out of the tunnel.

Naturally, there have been many suggestions from fans as to what song is selected. We feel strongly though that you should go with a little-known yet inspired track called 'You Reds', by a local punk band called Resistance 77.

The song in question was released back in 1990 to celebrate Forest's achievement in reaching the Littlewoods Cup final that year. Being a punk track, it's very 'up-tempo', and would therefore be sure to fulfil the important job of 'getting the crowd going'. The opening lyrics are also very apt:

"Get down to the City Ground - it's the place where you wanna be,
See the boys in red 'n' white play football that's a joy to see..."
