Many thought it was so beautiful that it almost moved them to tears bythe thought "Finally, a perfect evolving game!" but thosetears were soon to be tears of despair. As the game developed it wascompletely ruined, because of modern hype of selling to all ages, whichin reality makes a game less appealing for the majority of gamers: Theyouth. The water stage was removed, the graphics and the creaturesmovements were severely reduced for a lesser feeling of realism, bloodwas removed, and the already kind of strange and unnatural mating, wasturned into silly dance which in NO POSSIBLE WAY could fertilizeanything. In addition the game forces you to install something calledSecuROM that limits you to 3 installs and blocks your burningprograms.
It is highly imaginable that EA lost hundreds of millions because ofdisappointed youth who wouldn't even think of buying this game, andalso a lot of adults who are into evolving games but thought the gamegot too childish. Many of the enthusiastic buyers that saw this game in2005 might now not even consider buying it, seeing as in many places:playing childrens games is embarrassing after a certain age.
This petition is for the people who want Will Wright to see his fatalmistake, and make a new version of this game that is more like the onewe saw in 2005. In other words, this if for the people who so dearlywanted this game, but had to unwillingly watch the game turn into agraphically and technologically disaster. So if you cannot stopthinking about how awesome it would've been with a spore like you sawin 2005 or an even better more mature one (then I'm thinking from 12+and up) sign this petition, and hope Will Wright actually will come tohis senses!
