As many are aware, a new genre of musical has recently become popular known as the 'jukebox musical'. Starting with "Mamma Mia!" this genre know consists of at least four other musicals already completed and being performed. But this is just the beginning.
"Good Vibrations" is one of the newer of these musicals to hit Broadway, and despite the negative attention from the press that it's been receiving, the show continues to go on every night to full houses who thoroughly enjoy themselves throughout.
We, the fans, continue to see this show multiple times, enjoying the amazing sets, costumes, and book while still leaving the show in shock at how amazingly talented every member of the cast is. To no preserve this show, allowing fans to relive memories and future listeners a good album to listen to, would be a shame.
And so we, the undersigned, petition here to get the original Broadway cast of "Good Vibrations" a cast recording, to forever preserve this show.
