In the face of adversity the current North Melbourne chairman, Graham Duff, has not shown the leadership the club deserves to be a strong and successful club based at Arden Street, our spiritual home for over a century. In fact, under his tenure the club's future has been threatened. Shady meetings with a selective list of shareholders, negative comments in the press and insults hurled at members only damage the club. Unsubstantiated rumours have hurt the club and could have been quashed with decisive leadership, yet the President has remained silent, or talks in double-speak.
The club deserves a chairman that will honour the blood, sweat and tears sacrificed by countless men and women who have built this magnificent club for the best part of 140 years.
For the future strength, vitality and success of the -North Melbourne- Football Club I believe it is in the best interest of the club and its members that Duff resigns from the board.
