SCSU, stop giving us inadequate solutions to our issue of Halal food at UTSC. Start providing us with halal food in a proper manner that conforms with our methods of preparation, practice and beliefs. The halal food offered at Bluff's restaurant is simply NOT good enough. It is simply, in our opinions, a promotional move to rebound Bluff's back into the 'green light' financially from their long-term deficit. That environment (selling of alcohol, dancing, music etc...) was not meant for the welcoming of Muslims. Therefore, the provision of Halal food at Bluff's is only for their financial gain, and not in our best interest, in terms of catering to a belief system. Because they are not welcoming us, then we will not welcome their offer. Please don't take us wrong, it is a great initiative that Bluff's tried, but the created environment was not intended for Muslims, and perhaps we can all see past their "move".

I've never been to Bluff's, but I've heard it has a bar, is it okay to eat at places like that? Please let me know. All the same I vote for Halal food there
