We, the undersigned, demand the immediate release of Congresswoman Liza Maza and the dropping of charges of rebellion against her and fifty others. We support Congresswoman Mazas efforts. Congresswoman Mazas work against the trafficking of women and children, against violence, and for juvenile justice is a testament to her commitment to equality and human rights in the Philippines. This is very important work considering that the Philippines is the top exporter of women. In 2005 alone, the Philippines exported 750,000 women, 30\% were trafficked. Certainly, the Philippine democracy will benefit from her leadership, We urge Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to release Congresswoman Liza Maza, the voice of the Philippine women.
