To All Football Fans, especially fans of the Washington Redskins,
Every year more and more excellent and well deserving players and coaches from the National Football League are enshrined into the brotherhood that is the NFL Hall of Fame, and every year one of the most deserving men gets left out. This petition has been created to get Art Monk, one of if not the greatest wide recievers the Washington Redskins have ever had, in this year. He has made the list of 15 candidates again, but those of us that have been with the Redskins for more than 20 years dont want him off the ballot again. His career stats are as follows:
Receptions: 940 (5th All Time and 1st When he Retired)
Receiving Yards: 12721 (9th All Time)
Touchdowns: 68
Super Bowls: 3
Above all else, Art Monk was a man of honor and compassion and there have been few to carry themselves like him. Let's help pay our respects to one of the greatest men the NFL and Burgundy and Gold has ever seen. Sign the petition and help get him noticed.
