Help make League of Legends get recognized as a true sport in Australia

In Australia, e-sports is huge in any kind of MOBA game. This is especially for a popular game known as League of Legends. With the League of Legends, it helped change the way we look at the game instead of just having fun competing with the other players within the region. Best of all, it was already recognize as a legit e-sport that could change our perspective in playing this game.

Even though that we are so grateful for this game, there’s one wall that we should break. In Australia, League of Legends was not yet recognized as a true sport like basketball, soccer, bowling, tennis and so on. In the United States, there are students from other countries who were granted scholarships by various institutions for just being professional League of Legends players. In that way, the United States have already recognized League of Legends as a true sport, but not yet in other countries like Australia. They even took their time to buy high ELO accounts in LOL Epic Shop to compete with other high ranking players in their region.

We, the Australian community League of Legends, would like to propose to our good government to recognize this game as a real sport. Due to the real emotions, intense competition and gaining traction in the international sports world, we think that League of Legends should deserve itself as a real sport like they are doing in the United States.
