We, the under-signed, call on Westminster City Council to reject the proposal to close the Westminster Centre for Independent Living. We appeal to the Council to allow the building to be run as a Centre of Excellence for the provision of Adult Social Care for people with physical and sensory disabilities, providing support for independent living through:
Re-ablement, Physio- and Hydro-therapy for those with long term, chronic and deteriorating conditions, Employment advice, Training in Disability Awareness, as well as Respite/Day Care.
