By signing to this petition, you agree that Bill S.978 (aka the Ten Strikes Act) should not be passed in its current form without amending, in that video game streaming and uploading will be illegal (punishable by fines of thousands upon thousands of US dollars or up to five years imprisonment), and that the passing of this bill in its current format will hurt several large communities and businesses on the Internet that have made profit from copyrighted material that they are at the moment legally permitted to produce (commentary rights and rights of interacting with the game are what keeps these videos intact and legal), such as Machinima and IGN. Look up the bill on YouTube, Google, or whatever you please, and please help sign this petition against it. Our goal is 150 people by the end of July.
