It is a travesty that innocent people are falsely accused and incarcerated for something they didnt do. And that is what this petition is for.
On April 1st, 2006, an innocent man in Alleghany County, North Carolina was picked up for being falsely accused of four counts of statutory rape of a 13-year-old girl who had a crush on him. He did not share her feelings, so this is why she accused him of rape.
This petition will go to the Alleghany County Sheriffs department, Assistant District Attorney Stacy Adams, Sparta City Police Department, and the detectives who are supposed to be investigating the situation, as well as the attorney for the man who is accused.
