Help us get Danyl Johnson a recording contract

This petition is to help X Factor singer Danyl Johnson secure a recording contract. He finished in fourth place in the 2009 series of the UK version of The X Factor. He was widely tipped as a winner, but missed out on a place in the live finals. Simon Cowell mentored him throughout the judges-houses and the live shows, so he might sign him, but like last year, he only worked with the winner. On 15 December there was something in the press that Simon may offer Olly Murs (who came runner-up behind Joe McElderry) a record deal early next year.

Danyl gave the best first audtion the judges have ever seen, and throughout the competition, Simon Cowell mentioned he is 'arguably the best singer in the competition'. I created Danyl a Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danyl_Johnson) which has been removed because he is not notable. Users may put the page back if he gets a record deal it may consider him as notable. I don't think he was the best singer in the competition (Joe, the winner was the best singer in my opinion) but he is a fantastic singer and I loved his performances throughout the show. Him ending up in the bottom two in week 3 was a big surprise, but lucky he got through to the next round
