Supporters of any club are welcome to sign this petition.
The season 2003/04 will be looked back on some as glorious, others as failure and sadness; but for supporters of Oldham Athletic, Notts County and York City it will be the season that their clubs almost died.
Oldham are almost saved, Notts are saved, but York are still struggling. The supporters of YCFC have stood shoulder to shoulder with both Notts and Oldham throughout the season, collecting much needed money for both clubs, much more appreciated by both clubs I would think in the fact that the money that York donated, from fans of York City, is most definitely money that would help help towards the survival of their club.
I now propose a three way tournament between the three clubs, in whatever format the clubs see fit, in pre season 2004/05, at any suitable venue, so the fans of each club can thank in other in person for the generous donations; we share more common ground than we would have thought before this summer.
If enough people sign this petition, I will forward it to Trust Oldham, and ask them to use their influence on our management, and also ask them to forward it to the supporters trusts of Notts County and York City and hope they would do the same.
All proceeds to YCFC supporters trust.
