We, the undersigned, are seeking the availability of reasonable insurance coverage for snowmobiles owned and operated in Canada.
Recently, insurance companies have seemingly started a campaign to oppose and cancel coverage policies that they perceive no longer meet insured criteria.
To further complicate matters, snowmobile insurance is mandatory in Canada in order to use the consumer funded trail system. Even though snowmobiling in Canada is a recreational sport that has over 760,000 registered snowmobiles and contributing in excess of $3.6 billion to Canada's economy, the insurance companies appear to be having an impact on future snowmobile ownership and enjoyment.
Snowmobilers are having extreme difficulties obtaining the mandatory insurance needed. As more are cancelled and denied affordable insurance, less are actually staying with this recreational sport. This translates to an enormous loss of money and financial support to a wide variety of businesses that rely on snowmobilers as a primary source of income. Lost income for businesses quickly turns to lost jobs for Canada.
Don't let the average snowmobiler who spends over $4000 each year on snowmobile related recreation, tourism and products be alienated by the insurance companies. Don't allow our massive income from this recreational sport go elsewhere, head across the border or simply just disappear.
We seek our Government to provide immediate relief, guidelines and law, preventing insurance companies from discriminating against us as snowmobilers.

So far this year i have been ok on insurance on my snow machine, but my bussiness insurance went up 2 1/2 times to what it was last year, so I am sure i will get it next year on my snowmobile insurance how much 2-10 times as much?
