We, the undersigned users of ICQ and members of the ICQ online community, are concerned with the excessive number of inappropriate and sexual related web sites using ICQ as a form to advertise and attract people to their sites.
This primarily involves the infiltration to all groups & categories of the ICQ Random chat (Chat with a Friend) function.
Not only is the content and messages of these individuals and their sites unwelcome by the undersigned, we also find it extremely inappropriate to expose your users of any age group, to these unsolicited intrusions. The current state of the ICQ Random chat function makes it impossible to either enjoy or even use.
We request that you either remove or restrict these individuals from their activities or offer an optional filter to allow users who do not wish to be exposed to this type of content, the ability to "filter out" these individuals within Random chat.
