Illegal Fire Wood Stock Pile - A disaster waiting to happen

This is a petition against the unlawful and dangerous stockpile of firewood located next to the 2nd hole of the Lorne Golf Course and runs along the public access road that leads to Holiday road. At this point in time the road access is fenced off blocking access to CFA crews and residents in case of emergency.

The location of the firewood is in close proximity to a dozen houses is an unacceptable risk to the Lorne community living in the area. There is no permit for the storage and there is no certified firewood supplier in Lorne. As such the firewood should not be there and cannot be traded to any entity (wholesale or domestic).

The Lorne Country Club occupies and is ultimately responsible for the land which the firewood is located. My signature signifies my support for this petition.

The Action required is for the Lorne Country Club to take immediate action in removing or destroying the firewood in a safe and lawful manner.
