According to a memorandum of understanding between Imperial College and its students, I believe that Juma or Congregational Friday Prayer should be replaced to a space equal or greater than the space Imperial has currently has allocated for Juma i.e. Southside Gym. Imperial College should therefore see that Juma should be able to occur in the Great Hall or in the New Sports Hall when these venues are available. As a student of Imperial College who pays a phenomenal amount of fees to this establishment, Imperial should give me the right to exercise my religious beliefs by providing a suitable venue.
