Ever wondered if God looks down and gets disappointedEver wondered if there is actually any difference between those fanatics who we read about and us who just sit and do nothing but shake our heads about whats going on

From India to AmericaFrom Israel to AfghanistanFrom the North to the SouthWe all are suffering in the name of religionInnocent people die every day simply because someone has decided that his religion is not given the respect it deserves and violence is the only answerWhen are we going to learn? Are we going to be blind till it happens to usTill it happens to someone we love

How many of us have had that friend who we trusted, who let us down? How many of us have loved and lost? Just wishing and hoping that this too shall pass? How many of us have been surprised by the audacity of that person in our work place? Annoyed at the insensitivity of that person in charge in the hospital? Frustrated by the lack of civic sense of the driver in the next lane?

Face it- We are more alike than what we think. We all get hurtWe all feel pain. Then why these divisions in the name of religion? Why this war in the name of religion which by itself is a paradox?? How and why do we get taken in by that minority telling us our religion is under threat and aggression the only answer?

The problem lies in our acceptance. In us being numb We have become so used to the injustice that we have started believing that we cant do anythingFrom the war in the name of religion to the system being corrupt to the Jessica Lal murder case to this and that.The difference has to start hereOne man can make a difference, can start that chain so what are we all waiting for??

I proposeLets start a new ReligionLet it be named HumanityLet it be defined by us learning from our mistakesLet there be no divisionsLet its motto be-One world One PeopleLets work togetherLet kindness be its guiding force Do to others as u want others to do to you Lets Practice Random Acts of KindnessDo something for that stranger on the road without expecting anything in returnThe only rule being he has to pay it forward alsoSoon there will be a chain binding all of usSoon we would not shake our heads at the world. Soon we would be living a better worldSo do it for yourself because u deserveYour loved ones deserve it.
