On Aug. 26, 2006, Pamela Lawton alleged that Pittsburgh Police Officer Eric Tatusko pulled his service weapon and pointed it at the head of her 7-year-old daughter Joshalyn during a traffic stop and threatened to blow her brains out if she didn't stop moving around and making noise.
3 weeks later Ms. Lawton received a summons in the mail indicating that she was being charged with disorderly conduct in addition to traffic violations.
Pittsburgh's Office Of Municipal Investigations (OMI) has recently cleared Officer Tatusko of any charges, however Ms. Lawton still faces the charge of disorderly conduct.
We demand that District Attorney Stephen Zappala drop the charge of disorderly conduct against Ms. Pamela Lawton effective immediately.
We are also calling for all concerned individuals and organizations to call and email the District Attorney's Office to demand that the charge of disorderly conduct against Ms. Lawton be dropped. Please take a few minutes out of your day to support an innocent child and her mother.
