Tom was attacked 2 years ago from trying to intervene and end an altercation between some teenagers and as a result has been left wheelchair bound with permanent brain damage and requires 24 hour care. His attacker was sentenced to 6 years jail and this year, after only serving 6 months of that sentence, a judge let him out on bail until another hearing on the 6/2/2012 , and he is now back home. Tom will never be able to move on with his life. This petition is to show your support for Tom, his 3 daughters and the rest of his family and to try and get justice for Tom. As a community we feel its time we stand up and be counted and tell our young people that there are consequences to our actions and also our justice system that we will not be ignored.... our community WANTS justice for our victims and they want to feel safe... so now its time to STAND UP AND BE COUNTED... our little town will be heard!!
