Keep Bachelor of Applied Arts as the title of our degree 2018

We, the students of Whitireia Community Polytech, currently undertaking our Bachelor of Applied Arts, graduating in 2019 and 2020, are petioning today to keep the title of our degree as Bachelor of Applied Arts. The title is one that is internationally recognised and which professionally communicates the quality of the studies we have and will be undertaking during our studies. We feel that titles such as "Creative Industries" and "Bachelor of Applied Creativity" will confuse potential employers. "Bachelor of Applied Art" is an internationally recognised degree and wont potentially lead potential employers astray in gleaning the quality of the education we have recieved at Te Aauha.
