Keep Funding for Music Therapy Services in Northern Ireland
Sign Now
As a result of the Northern Ireland Assembly's current health budget there is the serious potential for loss of funding for our music therapy service to children with severe learning disabilities in eighteen special schools across Northern Ireland. It is also unclear at this stage what impact any health budget cuts might have on the services we provide within health & social care trusts. We want to ensure that MLAs and ministers in the Northern Ireland Assembly are aware of the vital frontline service we provide and therefore we are asking for support. The petition will be passed on to the Health Minister Mr Michael McGimpsey, to advocate for funding to sustain music therapy services.
