Kilmarnock Skatepark

I submit this petition to request that a skatepark be built for the public of East Ayrshire. It is a disgrace that the many Skateboarders, Rollerbladers and BMX'ers who live in the kilmarnock area have to travel so far to use skatepark facilities. Kilmarnock has a lot of run down wasteland area not being used, and could be used to build a skatepark. Many people from kilmarnock, and even outlying districts would come to use this facility and as well as giving us some place safe to practice our sport, it would be beneficial to the local economy. Skateboarding and BMXing are big business in this day and age and East Ayrshire need to waken up to this fact.
