Kindly update pension for Bank Pensioners in India

Whenever wages are revised for serving employees,Pension should be revised, for Retired Employees. But in the case of Bank Pensioners, Pension is not being revised at all, though wages for serving employees were revised 4 times since 1995, when Pension Scheme was started, in Banks in India.

Supreme Court  clearly highlighted in its judgement delivered on 01/07/2015, in civil appeal number 1123 that Pension is wages paid to Retired Employees and should be revised, whenever wages are revised for serving employees. 

More than three lacs of Bank Pensioners are drawing less pension than what they are supposed to draw, since 20 years, as Pension was not revised and updated.  It is huge monetary loss in their old age and mental agony too.More over these are the people , who implemented government schemes in banks earnestly, leading to socio economic development in the country,which fact is known to every citizen.

Hence I earnestly request our Ministry of Finance ,union government , to instruct IBA ( Indian Banks Association ) to give directions to revise and update Pension for Bank Pensioners in the country , without any further delay. Already several Bank Pensioners passed away. Hence the urgency.
