As an exchange student living 20 minutes from Victoria Railway Station - located in central London, this has become a meeting point for me and my friends. Which means that I 'visit' that station frequently - and because of the English habit of grabbing a French croissant, Starbucks coffee, Uppercrust sandwich, American donuts ect. on the run. I find myself with rubbish such as empty plastic bottles, empty coffee cups and plastic packaging, just as frequently as 'visiting' the Railway Station.
And that's where the 'lack of bins'-problem occur! What do I do with my rubbish when there are no bins to get rid of it? Can you imagine what people might do with their rubbish? You might be a good citizen and keep your rubbish, as that's the only 'be a good citizen'-option. But how come a Central Railway Station has no bins?
If you don't agree with me then I suggest you, take a look at all the take-away shops on Victoria Railway Station and come up with a good reason to why there's no bins to be found this place.
BUT IF YOU DO, THEN PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITON! SO WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE
(the linked website, is for those of you who wants to make a complain directly to the station)
