Jim Carrey fans, without a doubt, want another ASOUE film, as he did such an astounding job portraying Count Olaf. The film opened with $30 million, and went on to gross nearly $120 million. There's no doubt that it did extremely well and performed quite consistently in the cinemas, and the DVD was a huge success as well. With 11 books, 2 more on the way and 1 enormously popular blockbuster film, Lemony Snicket's ASOUE fanbase has undoubtedly increased substantially, which ultimately means that if a sequel was indeed made, more people would attend.
