Please sign this petition requesting that BC Ferries allow Elementary and High school children to travel for free when on sporting trips.
The cost for parents to send their children over to Vancouver or Vancouver Island for sporting events easily reaches into the hundreds of dollars. Being landlocked in Powell River, we are forced to use BC Ferries services with no other alternative for ground travel. BC Ferries ticket prices are constantly rising and making it harder for parents to keep their kids in sports. Join us in the fight to keep kids active and resist the exploitation of Powell Rivers only ground travel option.
