Localization of Valkyria Chronicles III : Unrecorded Chronicles

Dear SEGA of America, and fellow Valkyria Chronicles fans,

With the inevitable upcoming release of Sony Computer Entertainment's hand-held console, the PlayStation Vita, SEGA of America has announced to halt the localization, support, and development of PlayStation Portable games here in the United States. This is completely uncalled for. There is no reason for this. Without a doubt, all developers, including Sony Computer Entertainment itself are losing money ever since players found out how to hack, and download (pirate) PlayStation Portable games and play them without purchasing. Regardless, this should not be the reason to halt the development or localization of games for the hand held.
PC game developers are still working on their games even though the PC has the highest pirating rate of all. SEGA's excuse is unacceptable.

Due to SEGA stopping the localization, support, and development of PlayStation Portable games, one game in particular, Valkyria Chronicles III : Unrecorded Chronicles, will not see the light of day in the western hemisphere.
Fans are patiently waiting for SEGA to confirm whether or not they will or will not localize said game.

As a fan of SEGA and it's works, I am absolutely disgusted with this decision.

We, the consumers, the SEGA fans, and the Valkyria Chronicles cult following, ask to see Valkyria Chronicles III : Unrecorded Chronicles localized in North America.

SEGA, please realize that you still have a fan base willing to PURCHASE your products. Please do not disappoint us. Without releasing the third installment of the series, you do realize that you will be doing more harm than good.

If Valkyria Chronicles III is NOT released, you will lose fans, and potential customers.

If it IS released, you will gain fans, future customers, profit, and more fan support in general.


Please reconsider your decision SEGA.
