As stated in the Smyrna High School Code of Conduct, "Students are not allowed o embrace or kiss. Any body contact beyond holding hands is prohibited."
What's so harmful about a simple kiss or even a hug? I believe the Code of Conduct should be modified and accept the showing of love in our generation. It should not promote inappropriate behavior. But kissing and hugging can hardly be seen as inappropriate and disrespectful.
