Michael Moore Accountability

Dear Michael Moore,
You have made quite a name for yourself doing nothing more than slandering the people and ideas that you disagree with. The documentaries, books, interviews and other media events you have unleashed upon the world in the past few years have done nothing but play upon the hurt and injustices minorities have endured, the loss that victims of gun violence have lived through, and also played upon basic anti-American sentiment. In the name of the promotion of equality, you have begun a campaign of racism, a racism which is the obverse of that historically proven to only divide our country, and which will prove to have the same end.

In your rants you have stereotyped anyone of southern descent, republican orientation, and most disturbingly, of Caucasian origin as racist, illiterate, insensitive, and closed-minded. You claim that all white people, deep down are "afraid" of minorities, and this subset of our population is basically the root of all our societies woes. While in foreign countries you assume the role of ambassador, supposedly speaking on our "behalf" belittling our President, saying our government is a coup, and then saying millions of Americans would say the same.

This is a call for you to be aware that millions of Americans do not support your views, and to refrain from tying yourself in to "the people of America". This is a call for you to stop the sarcasm you use to propel your ideas, and to stop using the pain of others as a catalyst for your career. This is a call for you to stop the promotion of stereotypes, which is a key component of the ideology you supposedly combat. If your motives really are to initiate change, you yourself must step back and realize that the divisive measures you are taking bring about nothing but controversy and more pain, serving only to harden the opinions people already have, changing nothing, and causing nothing new to happen. This is a call for you to stop using "Social Change" and the controversy you create as the storm fueling nothing more than your own image, interests and income.
