Middle East Christian Association members Banned Unfairly from Paltalk

We are the Middle East Christian Association, an association for the human rights of Christians in the Middle East. We are registered in Canada under the nr 431175-2.







We have our main job on a chat program called Paltalk. We speak through this program to the Christians users from the Middle East. We tell them the daily news and we work to achieve their rights for them. For over 5 years, we have maintained a room for 6000 USD per year. We also color nick names, which we pay around 50 USD for per name.







Last month a group of users from Middle East that are non Christians approached the management of Paltalk. They proceeded to threaten the Paltalk management, claiming that if they did not close all the Christians rooms, then the Middle East would proceed in a total boycott of the program. The users even wrote in Arabic newspapers proclaiming the same thing.







Unfortunately Paltalk caved into their demands and banned most of the Christian administrators without a liable reason. As if this wasn't enough, they also stopped any user from the Middle East from entering Christian rooms. This stopped all communication between us and our friends over there, as well as it allowed non Christian rooms to continue their bashing of the Christian religion without any way for us to defend ourselves.







What Paltalk did went against the agreement that we reached when we paid for the room. They stopped the main flow of our listeners and they also banned our administrators thus affectingly bringing our cause to an incredibly slow pace. This stops our mission of achieving human rights and resulted in lots of damage like loss of money and time along with the inability to help people in need.







We are wondering how the money from Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf States can control an American company like this. We are also wondering for how long they will be allowed to do as they wish, instead of us teaching them about the freedom of speech or us teaching them that we aren't intimidated into silence by them.







The entire world should know how those people bought and destroyed the American idea of freedom. Now we have to fight for our right to speak our minds both in the Middle East and in America, the supposed country of freedom
