Minors Against CPL Rule

The ERSB is meant for parents of 17 and younger to know the content of the game that there are purchasing. It was not meant to restrict anyone from doing things they want. I personally think that if I parent sign a consent form that says they know the games that will be played at the tournament and what is it rated and what the rating means anyone should be able to play in any tournament in the CPL. Angel Munoz is not my dad and he shouldn't have the right to tell me that I can't play in the a tournament because of the content in the game. Only your parents should know what is best for you and what you can handle. That is the purpose of the ESRB Rating just like the movie rating I can go to a rated R movie with my parents with me and I can buy a M rated game with my parents with me but I can't play in a Tournament even with my parents consent?!? Something is wrong there! This organization does not display the best gamers around until you let all gamers play! simple as that! Just as a example Quakecon can display the best gamers because I can play in any tournament I want to with a consent form. The BYOC is not good enough for me I want to be in the official tournament! Us younger people want the fame and respect as the older people that can play in the tournamnets have. I am sure there are many people that can not play in the CPL Tournament but have the skill to. My propostion is that you lower the age to a reasonable age limit like 13. Were some level of maturity is displayed. I have seen tournaments like Quakecon let people in that are under age with a parent waiver. All that needs to be done is just add more detail to the waiver so there are no holes it can't just be simply a the game is M rated and you let your child play it kind of thing. It seems great that every time so one brings a point up to the CPL moderators they find another excuse. I am sick of seeing gamers that were lucky by being born early get respect,fame and money for supposedly being the best and I am even more sick of the CPL bragging about how they display the best! If you feel the same way please speak out!
