TO MR. HAL FISH, VICE PRESIDENT/PROGRAMMING & OPERATIONS, WRKZ, 99.7 THE BLITZ RADIO STATION, NORTH AMERICAN BROADCASTING COMPANY, COLUMBUS, OHIO:
As members of the listening public, individuals involved in the music industry at all levels, local and otherwise, and interested parties wishing to support the entertainment value, dedication, hard work, and high level of talent displayed by the local music bands and solo artists, both signed and unsigned, in the Columbus, Ohio area, each of the undersigned hereby requests that the local rock music radio station of Columbus, Ohio, WRKZ 99.7 THE BLITZ, provide more airtime for local music. Currently WRKZ plays local music on a "Local Stuff" segment which airs on Sunday nights from 10:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. We are requesting that an additional hour of local music be provided on either Wednesday or Thursday afternoons/evenings within the time frame of 4:00-9:00 p.m. at the discretion of WRKZ The Blitz.
