Appeal for Modest Fashions
We, the undersigned, appeal to fashion merchandisers in the Fort Lauderdale/ Miami area to provide teen buyers greater choice in their clothing purchases by offering an expanded array of modest styles in casual, semiformal and formal attire. We support the youth in our community who are striving to uphold modest standards. We call upon fashion retailers to aid them in that commitment by stocking and displaying modest clothing lines in a manner that is equal in quantity, quality, variety, attractiveness and in-store visibility to the merchandising of more revealing fashions. We commit to making our clothing purchase from those retailers that support this initiative.
