Move Israel to the United States

The signers of this Petition desire to, working in conjunction with its citizenry, move the State of Israel to the United States.

With a population of less than six and one half million less than that of Manhattan all Israelis could be easily accommodated, in particular in one of the United States less-densely populated states, such as Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, or Arizona. Moreover, living in a desert region, such as Arizona, would not be fundamentally different than living in the Middle East.

The People of Israel have established the sole democracy in the Middle East, and that regions most vibrant economy, all in spite of constant attacks by enemies on all sides of their small country. Despite its limited natural resources and the constant threat of suicide murderers and hostile neighboring states, the Israelis have intensively developed their agricultural and industrial sectors, and their technologically advanced market economy is one of the strongest in the world.

The cultural, moral, and political ties between the two nations are strong, and the Israeli People would be a welcomed addition to the United States.
