My Chemical Romance has a large fan-base in Perth, and it is highly unfair that we do not get a tour date for the upcoming The Black Parade Tour that has been announced for Australia and New Zealand. Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane have seen My Chemical Romance have tour dates for their cities multiple times in the past 3 years. Perth has only had the pleasure of having a two shows, both of which happened earlier this year, and most likely wouldn't have happened if the band was not on the Big Day Out tour. If their managers/tour managers are unsure of adding a Perth date because tickets wont sell, then they are wrong - a Perth show would sell, not to mention it would sell well as there is a large fan-base here, young and old.
So I start this petition in hope of something good coming out of it, and hopefully the band and their managers see that Perth deserves a Black Parade tour is it's entirety, the outfits, the pyro and just the overall presence that My Chemical Romance bring to the stage.
